The Super 8 U-Joint Axle Shafts are engineered specifically for LGRP® V1 Super 8 Axles, built to handle the growing demands of today’s mini crawler market. As rigs evolve with larger tires, brushless power systems, and heavier builds, these axle shafts provide the strength and reliability needed to keep up.

Each set includes 3x6x2 ball bearings, which replace the stock 3x6x2.5 inner knuckle bearings to accommodate a larger U-joint design—offering improved performance and durability. (Refer to product images for bearing replacement details.)

Constructed from 4130 chromoly steel, both the inner and stub shafts are larger and stronger than standard SCX24™-sized U-joint components. These shafts are carefully engineered to maximize available space inside the Super 8 housing, featuring the largest possible joint for the design.

The inner shaft is precision-turned to absorb torque and shock loads—reducing stress on the joint—while the reinforced U-joint ears add strength and long-term reliability. Capable of achieving up to 45° of steering angle, these shafts allow a noticeably tighter turning radius for greater control on technical terrain.
